Evangelism
Changing Lives for Eternity
“Jesus said to him, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6) “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other Name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)
The doorways of opportunity continue to open in evangelism. We engage in one on one, group discussions, city wide revivals, street meetings, village witnessing, baptisms, and others.
One of these areas is Children’s Evangelism started by Mrs. Alice Okobia. For many years she has worked with the children of Eku to help teach them the story of Jesus Christ and the value of the scriptures. If you love children, you have a way to minister that love to them. Outreach is available through many of the programs that we have today such as Vacation Bible School, Storyboards, puppet shows, craft involvement, and others.

Expanding on the idea of children’s evangelism to include youth through music, media, drama, or sports. The people are very musical and love to sing. You can involve them with media shows and teach them some basics about media technology. Soccer is the game that they all play and offers for those that can lead in sports evangelism a way to connect. Dramatic presentations are also a part of their culture and producing drama shows about relevant Christian principles would draw many.

They look for events to go to. They enjoy having fun. They love to learn. They play with enthusiasm. These all become doors to evangelize for those that God has talented.
