The purpose of this lesson is to reinforce the character of the Holy Spirit as our Helper. It will use the Word to strengthen our awareness of the Holy Spirit as an integral third person of the Holy God Head. The purpose is to help us become more ‘God Minded,” in realizing the indwelling of the Holy Spirit is the very presence of God in us. The Holy Spirit is the same Spirit dwelling in Jesus Christ that raised Him from the dead. He is now an ever presence Helper dwelling in us as believers to “make alive” and guide our every decision. We learn that the Holy Spirit is directed only by God’s Word and the more we are acquainted with what the Word says on a situation the more the Holy Spirit is manifested in our daily life.
Romans 8:11 “But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in us, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken (make alive) your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwelleth in you.”
John 16.13
“… when He, the Spirit of Truth has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell your things to come.
John 16:14
“He will glorify Me for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you.”
