Changing Lives for Eternity

“…that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, and attaining to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ, in Whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge…as you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.” (Colossians 2:2,3,6,7)

Eku Baptist Seminary

At the Eku Baptist Seminary there are multiple doorways of opportunity to expand the outreach of the Gospel. It truly is a place that you can teach a few how to disciple new believers and see it multiplied throughout the nation. These students are in desperate need to have you invest into them the knowledge and integrity of God’s Word as the foundational principles of the believer. They need to hear from experienced pastors and teachers what is the Biblical view of holiness and Godly values, what it means to have a servant’s heart, how to serve others, and how to hunger and build a relationship with the Spirit of God’s Word.

Invest your God given experiences and revelations in classes, conferences, and special lectures. They greatly need to have loving servants to share with them a growing lifelong personal relationship with God. They desperately need to know God’s Word and the power of that Word to change lives. They need to understand how to stand in the integrity of God’s Word and have faith to be a doer of the Word. You can expand your effect if you could commit to short term semester programs and/or sandwich programs (between semesters.)

Another great need is the availability of a complete printed Bible. Many of the students do not have one and what they might not be adequate to gain the full knowledge of God’s Word. It is also a desire for those that could help establish more electronic type resources for the library. This could mean a need to upgrade and diversify facility generating equipment.

The Eku Seminary is an accredited institution. It has both 3- and 4-year programs. Diplomas and Certifications programs are earned from Eku and a Bachelor of Theology is earned through affiliation with the Baptist Seminary of Ogbomosho. Each year there are around 200 students enrolled in the various programs. The teaching staff includes 12-15 members depending on the semester program and the students enrolled. There are two full semesters, August to November and February to May, with a sandwich program in January and February. The compound includes classrooms, single student housing, married student housing, staff housing, a small medical clinic, library, chapel, and student center.
